Nora's House Respite
A respite care centre with a home-like environment.
Nora's House is an overnight respite care service that provides a secure, home-like environment with 24/7 care for people living with dementia, giving care partners a much-needed rest.
Nora’s House is located in Mississauga, near Mississauga Road and Dundas Street and is open to anyone in need - no matter your location.
Nora’s House was named in honour of Nora Triveron, who lived with dementia. Her family made a generous donation in her honour, which was used to purchase the first respite home in Peel Region.
Services provided include:

A holistic, person-centred approach to care.

Individualized, strength-based daily activity plans are catered to each guest.

Dementia trained staff to ensure high engagement in a safe and comfortable environment, including wellness and recreational programming, personal care and medication assistance.

Music Therapy.

Therapeutic outdoor garden.

Nutritious meals and snacks.

Respite stays can be arranged for a minimum of 2 days to a maximum of 14 days for 8 guests.

Services are available at $100.00 per night.
Please note that this service may not be suitable for individuals who have complex medical needs or individuals who require lifting. Nora’s House is wheelchair accessible; however, guests must be able to bear weight.
